Feed me Too–After and Before!

So excited and happy to see that Feed me Too made it to both Pixels and CreateHive – thank you to both sites so much for choosing my images!

I spent quite sometime working on this image.  Cropped it first with CropSuey – then used Camera+ Clarity Filter, then I think I used one of the light Drama filters in Snapseed and used one of Snapseed’s Grunge filters.  Created a couple of different filters in AutoPainter and AutoPainterII – then spent some time in Iris blending and masking.  I think I also put image through DynamicLight but can’t remember now!  I should write everything down!
Anyhow, below is the Before photo!

Amazing what a bit of cropping can do to a photo!
Feed Us was from the same photo shoot but I had a different look to it :

and below is the Before!

Again cropped the photo and then used TouchRetouch to remove some of the seagulls.  Think for this one I only used AutoPainter and AutoPainterII then blending and masking with Iris.

Thought it would be a good idea to post my edited images and also show the originals – so guess this is After and Before!

Catching up

My lovely, wonderful, beautiful Mum passed away on 29 December.  She had been ill for a long time and she died peacefully and is no longer in pain or suffering.  I contracted a horrendous viral infection on the 30th December which made me extremely ill – and still off work recovering from it.  My family and I had so much to do and I was so ill throughout it all that had no creativity.
But I started working on photos last week again and loving it so much!  Have been on a roll!
So delighted to have a few of my photos featured both in Pixels and CreateHive!

Found out about two new fabulous apps which I have been using in my new images – Painteresque and Modern Grunge.  Loving them.  Below are other images I have created this week

Of Lines and Shadows

Syon House is about 5 minutes cycle ride from my house and it is so beautiful.  It has the most amazing Conservatory.  I took this photo in the summer – the light, lines, shadows are magnificent!  I could go visit it every day!
Took this photo with ClassicPan and cropped a bit of the edges with Crop Suey.  Did a bit of processing with Snapseed and then took photo into PhotoToaster where I added the blueish filter to it and the frame.
Anyhow, very chuffed it has been featured in Pixels today!

Here is the original photo :

Chiswick House

Had a quick visit to Chiswick Park and took a few photos in a rush of Chiswick House – definitely need to go back to take some more photos!
And really happy to find out it was featured in CreateHive!

Took photo with 6x7 in Black and White, then processed with Snapseed and PhotoToaster

Been a Tourist

My friend Janice arrived last Friday so we had an incredibly hectic weekend being tourists!  On Saturday we went to Windsor Castle then hurried back by train to Richmond, got in the car and drove to Hampton Court Palace.  Sunday we tackled Buckingham Palace (which was amazing), the Tower of London and caught the boat back to Westminster Pier.  Spent some time walking around the Houses of Parliament and caught tube back to Richmond.  We were knackered!  But weather was HOT for the UK, and DRY!  Just perfect!
I was showing Janice how iphoneography apps work so played around with this photo which I originally took with ProHDR.  Processed it with Snapseed and then with VintageScene.

As you all know I love my Hipstamatic App – especially the Dali and Watts lenses paired up with the DreamCanvas film!  Here are a few of my favourite ones :

Some More London Photos

Took Monday 11th July as holiday and spent afternoon walking around the South Bank in London as I was going to the Mac Store at 7pm to attend a London iPhoneography exhibition.  Weather was ok (not raining like it has been for over a week now).  So I took my time to walk around by the London Eye, Westminster Bridge and Houses of Parliament to take photos with my iphone.

Took photo with ProHDR, made some blends in Iris. Used AutoPainterII and then blended again with Iris. Sharpened a bit with PerfectPhoto.
Walking past the Houses of Parliament took photo of the side of the building

I took photo with ClassicCam, then did some processing with Snapseed, AutoPainterII and Iris.
This one I took from the other side of the Houses of Parliament.  Had to put my iphone through some railings and stand on tiptoes to take the photo!
